CLASS NOTES AND HOMEWORK: APRIL 1 - 5, 2019
EVERY DAY: You must come with more work than the day before, especially for your Number the Stars project/poem/song. it is YOUR responsibility to move your project forward by having new lyrics to share every day this week.

Solid Due Dates for the final Number the Stars Project:
WEDNESDAY: Your choice for a beat for the rap song is due.
>>There were six choices available on our Google Classroom site. You need to tell me which one you are going to use with your group.
FRIDAY: Your rough draft of your rap song is due for review and editing. ALL members must have contributed lines, phrases, stanzas, and rhymes to retell the story. Everybody performs next week,
TUESDAY (Next Week): Final drafts are due. Practice continues.
THURSDAY (Next Week) Performances begin!!
MONDAY: Number the Stars Final project – (W)rapping it up: teams, discuss project and due dates; New Unit: Poetry – opening discussion, literary devices worksheet.
HOMEWORK: literary devices worksheet due tomorrow; backbeat choice due Wed.
TUESDAY: Poetry: discuss literary devices, discuss first poetry assignment; NtS: continue working with your team to write your rap.
HOMEWORK: portrait poem due tomorrow; backbeat choice due Wednesday.
